Royal London Waterbeach developers are reporting that they have submitted to South Cambridgeshire District Council a Planning Application to relocate Waterbeach train station. We will publish details once we have them from SCDC. Meantime there is some information on this RLW webpage  (28/02/18)

South Cambridgeshire District Council have informed us that they are holding a Waterbeach Community Forum on Wednesday 14th March 2018 at St John's Church Room in Station Road. The event is open to all and will be an opportunity to find out more about development in Waterbeach and the surrounding area and ask questions.

Topics for discussion:

- Local Plan and Supplementary Planning Document

- Updates from the developers of the barracks site (Urban and Civic) and New Town (Royal London Waterbeach)

- Ely to Cambridge Study

Format:

a drop in session between 6pm to 6.45pm followed by formal meeting with presentations between 7pm and 9pm.

The work to transform the old Skatepark into a wheeled park for toddlers is nearing completion. Unfortunately some of the works are weather dependent and we cannot make further progress until we get some drier and warmer weather - which rules out this week! Although not officially open the park is safe to use if little ones want to use it. Please bear in mind this is intended for toddlers and younger children.  (20/02/18)

Remedial work on the Recreation Ground car park is due to start on Monday. This will comprise short-term repairs to alleviate the problems pending a comprehensive resurfacing planned for later this year.  (15/02/18)
