Amey Energy from Waste Application

You can also find more information, including pictures of the proposed buildings, on the Amey website here[3] The Parish Council recommended refusal and the full text of their response is here[4] . On 27 April 2018 the County Council launched a further public consultation focussing on additional environmental information submitted by Amey. Here is their cover letter[5]. The new documents have been added to the application website and are those prefixed with Regulation 22. The closing date is midnight on 29 May and comments are invited only on the new documents. Comments already made will be carried forward and should not be resubmitted.On 24 May 2018 the Parish Council submitted its written response to this supplementary information which can be seen here[6]. At its Planning Committee meeting on 17 September 2018 the County Council REFUSED permission. A copy of the refusal notice can be seen here[7] Amey appealed against the refusal and the matter was referred to the Planning Inspector. On 15 June 2020 it was announced that the Secretary of State had decided to dismiss the appeal and refuse planning permission.[8]
