Becoming a Parish Councillor
You can become a Parish Councillor in two principal ways.
You can stand for election. An election is to be held on May 27th, 2010 and you can find a list of candidates via the link on our News page.
You can fill a casual vacancy. If a Parish Councillor leaves office for any reason, there is a vacancy. This can either be filled by election or by co-option. Details can be found below.
