Community Forum event - Wednesday 10 July 2019

South Cambs District Council is holding a drop-in event between 6 -8 pm at the Baptist Church on Chapel Street. This is a chance for members of the public to meet the developers as well as local County and District Council officers and planners working on the proposed new town north of Waterbeach. There are no formal presentations so you will be able to ask questions and discuss any concerns about the proposed developments in Waterbeach. You can see the flier for the event here  (09/07/19)

 

Council meeting Tuesday 2 July 2019

Annual Governance and Accounting return

Each year the Parish Council produces an Annual Governance and Accounting Return which is subject to external audit review. The Notice of Public Rights has now been issued. It summarises what this means in terms of the right of anyone to inspect relevant documents within the inspection period which runs from 28 June 2018 - 8 August 2018. The annual governance statement and the accounting statement, both of which form part of the Annual return, have also been published today. Council and Highways Committee both meeting on Tuesday 25 June.

The agenda for both meetings have been published.

The Council meeting is at 7pm and the agenda is here.

This will be followed by the Highways Committee meeting which starts at 7.30pm - the agenda for this Committee is here

Tennis courts closed on Thursday pm (6th) and Friday 7th June

We are getting a moss removal treatment applied to the tennis courts which will mean we need to close them temporarily. They will be open for use again by Saturday morning.  (06/06/19)

 

Proposed relocation of Parkside Police Station to Milton

There is a public meeting to be held on Monday 10 June at 7pm in Milton about a proposal to relocate Parkside Police Station to a site adjacent to the Milton Park and Ride site.
