The Neighbourhood Policing team have advised us that the Crime Prevention event on Monday 25th November between 5-8pm will be held at the Baptist Church on Chapel Street CB25 9HT note the change of venue.

  • Neighbourhood watch & Speedwatch will be attending.
  • You can also get your bicycle security-marked for free.
  • Security products will be on sale, and home security advice will be available.

  • Finance Committee - Wednesday 20 November 2019

    The Finance Committee will meet at 7.30pm in the Old Pavilion on the Recreation Ground. The agenda and papers can be accessed here   (15/11/19)

     

    Council and Planning committee are meeting on Tuesday 19 November.

    The usual monthly Planning Committee meeting will be preceded at 7pm by a Council meeting to consider if the Council wishes to add anything to the representations it has already made to Planning Enquiry Inspector regarding its objection to the proposed incinerator.

    Proposed temporary closure of Rosemary Road

    Water connectiion works mean that Rosemary Road is expected ot be closed to traffic between 2 - 8 December. Access will be via Way Lane and Burgess Road. Click here to see the Traffic Order  (07/11/19)

     

    Crime Prevention Event - Monday 25 November between 5 - 8pm

    The Neighbourhood Policing team have advised us that they are holding a Crime prevention event on Monday 25th November between 5-8pm at the Salvation Army Hall, 7 Station Rd, Waterbeach, Cambridge CB25 9HT.

    Neighbourhood watch & Speedwatch will be attending.

  • Incinerator appeal - evening session for the public on 13 November

    The appeal hearing started on Tuesday and a copy of the outline timetable has been issued - note this may be subject to change.

    The Inspector has been made aware that not all members of the public who wanted to attend the Inquiry and give their views were able to attend the Inquiry during normal working hours and therefore an additional evening session of the Inquiry has been convened in order to allow this to take place. This will take place on Wednesday 13 November between 6-9pm in the Council Chamber at Cambridgeshire County Council's HQ at Shire Hall, Castle Street Cambridge.
